1. About these terms

These terms describe the planned direct-download edition of Better Volume, provided under the Vast Lightyear (万维光年) studio name. Direct downloads and purchases are not currently available. No purchase can be made through this page. Contact: [email protected].

2. License and permitted use

Upon a valid purchase, you receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Pro features on up to three activated devices you own or control. You may deactivate a device to release an activation slot. Keep your license confidential; do not resell, publicly share, or distribute it. Do not use the software unlawfully or bypass licensing controls, except where applicable law expressly permits an activity.

3. Activation and offline use

Initial activation requires an Internet connection. Each successful online validation grants up to 30 days of offline access. Annual access never extends beyond the paid subscription period. After the offline period expires, reconnect to validate your license; Pro features may be unavailable until validation succeeds. A lifetime license is not a promise of unlimited offline access. Remote deactivation or refunds may take effect on an offline device when it reconnects or its offline grant expires.

4. Prices, subscriptions and lifetime licenses

Planned website pricing is USD 3.99 per year for an annual subscription or USD 9.99 for a lifetime license. Taxes, if applicable, will be shown before payment. Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal through the payment-provider portal or with support assistance. Cancellation stops future renewal and preserves the already-paid period. A lifetime license has no recurring subscription fee and does not promise perpetual hosting, compatibility with all future operating systems, or delivery of future features. Any future changes affecting existing rights will be communicated as required by law.

5. Refunds and payment disputes

We generally do not offer voluntary refunds for direct digital licenses. This does not exclude mandatory consumer rights, remedies for defective or misdescribed products, or refunds required by applicable law or the payment provider. Contact support about billing errors or product problems. Once direct sales launch, Creem will process website purchases as merchant of record, subject to its checkout terms and policies. Refunded or disputed purchases may have access suspended or revoked; contact support if a payment dispute is resolved.

6. Store purchases

App Store purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to its purchase, subscription and refund rules. Website licenses do not automatically unlock the App Store edition, and App Store purchases do not automatically issue website licenses.

7. Compatibility, support and limitations

Current system requirements start at macOS 14.4. Audio behavior depends on hardware, operating system and other software; review requirements before purchase. Contact support for help. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or compatibility with every configuration and are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing limits liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded. These terms may be updated, but changes will not remove mandatory rights or retroactively impose undisclosed charges.
